What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies? Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Operations Manager (GM) is not present Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence Support Store Operations Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling Ensure staff adhere to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.) Focus on upselling and delivering excellent customer service, ensuring all team members do the same Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System Availability to work a 4-5 day work week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States About us:
