What you get to do:
• Lead strategy, development, execution & day to day management of Consumer Events, Retail Promotions & Retail Promotions for BGW & WCUSA. • Lead and participate in cross functional Consumer Event brainstorming, experience ideation & marketing planning. • Responsible for ensuring all consumer event details are communicated to all marketing disciplines for a consistent consumer facing communication approach (web, email, social, etc). • Negotiate, secure and execute on retail promotions for BGW & WCUSA to include QSR's, grocers, malls, sports teams, colleges and other relevant highly regarded 3rd party brands to drive greater reach & awareness of our events, brands & products in local, same day, D&O and Domestic markets. • Primary contact for all TV, Radio & OOH media promotions designed to leverage our paid media dollars for greater on-air, social and web exposure in key markets & with high value demos. This development includes station selections, program negotiations, contracting, creative development and performance recaps. What it takes to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing or related subject or equivalent experience. • 5+ years' experience in marketing or tourism. • Experience with performance management & plan development. • Managerial or supervisory experience a plus. • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills required • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to drive business. • Solid organizational skills. Able to manage a high volume of large-scale projects on varying timelines. • Robust client relationship development & negotiation skillset • Commitment to collaboration and working effectively as part of team. • Strong analytical skills.
