Marketing Consumer Activation Manager (Busch Gardens Williamsburg)

What You Get To Do Lead strategy, development, execution, and day-to-day management of Consumer Events, Retail Promotions for BGW & WCUSA. Lead and participate in cross-functional Consumer Event brainstorming, experience ideation, and marketing planning. Ensure all consumer event details are communicated to all marketing disciplines for consistent consumer-facing communication (web, email, social, etc). Negotiate, secure, and execute retail promotions for BGW & WCUSA with third-party brands to increase reach and awareness. Manage TV, Radio, & OOH media promotions to maximize paid media dollars for exposure in key markets and demographics.
What It Takes To Succeed
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in marketing or tourism. Experience with performance management and plan development. Managerial or supervisory experience is a plus. Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills. Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to drive business. Organizational skills to manage multiple large-scale projects. Relationship development and negotiation skills. Collaborative mindset and effective team working skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate into action. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
