Insight Investments, LLC is an independent equipment leasing and finance company providing flexible financing solutions to large corporate entities, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions. We specialize in leasing and financing all types of equipment including IT, material handling, modular buildings, and fitness equipment. For over 38 years, we have assisted the growth of various businesses and originate approximately $500 million in new leases annually. Our headquarters are in Costa Mesa, CA. We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to support our legal team in various financial and commercial matters. The role involves handling financial transactions, working closely with sales, credit, and contracts teams, and reporting directly to the General Counsel. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, sales-oriented, team-driven environment, with relevant experience in financial transactions. Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating equipment financing and secured financial transactions, including asset-based lending secured by equipment, vehicles, and other assets. Managing all aspects of financing transactions and closing deals efficiently. Conducting legal due diligence, advising on deal structures, and assessing risk with credit and executive teams. Engaging outside counsel for litigation matters. Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and other related documents. Staying updated on recent legal developments relevant to the company. Developing and maintaining legal forms and templates. Providing legal guidance and training to executives and operational teams regarding contract terms and legal risks. Qualifications / Education

JD from a recognized law school. Licensed attorney in California or another jurisdiction. 1-3 years of relevant experience. Expertise in Article 9; knowledge of Article 2A and equipment leasing/financing is a plus. Skills

Practical, business-minded approach. Detail-oriented and accurate. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of bankruptcy law is a plus. Comfortable working with large organizations, clients, and vendors.
