Practice Director
to join our team! This full-time role will support
the Dallas region, comprising 5 clinics across the area. Texas Breast Specialist & Texas Surgical Specialist
are part of Texas Oncology, the largest community oncology provider in the country, with over 600 providers across 220+ sites in Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. What does the Practice Director do?
The Practice Director oversees practice activities to meet objectives, typically in practices with at least 25 physicians or gross revenues exceeding $50 million. Responsibilities include implementing strategies for financial profitability, planning for growth, and ensuring compliance with the US Oncology Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and objectives, ensuring compliance and updates. Assess business conditions and advise leadership on operational issues. Assist in developing organizational goals and plans. Oversee the development of manual and automated systems supporting practice activities. Promote effective communication and information flow within the organization. Monitor practice progress, capacity, manpower, facilities, and technology needs. Prepare management reports and ensure organizational compliance with mission and management philosophy. Coordinate new office locations and their operational needs. Supervise all practice staff, with clinical work directed by physicians. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field. At least seven years of healthcare management experience, including three in a supervisory role. Physical Demands
Requires sitting for extended periods, some bending and stretching, finger dexterity for keyboarding, and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. Vision and hearing should be within normal range, with accommodations available if needed. Work Environment
Primarily office setting with occasional travel (~20%) by air or car. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to support individuals with disabilities.
