Job Summary: Presidio's Field Services (PFS) Division offers top-tier field service solutions across various industries, managing over 3,000 client accounts. The division provides strategic solutions enabling comprehensive IT project deployment and management. We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team. As a PFS Solutions Architect, you will support sales initiatives, develop project estimates, and create scope of work documentation. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, hardware knowledge (routers, switches, firewalls, Access Points, telepresence, UC equipment), and understanding of low voltage and fiber optic cabling standards, including structured cabling design. Travel up to 25% is expected for this role. Job Responsibilities: Meet with customers to gather requirements. Collaborate with Sales to develop solutions and support the sales process. Create hardware and infrastructure cost estimates. Develop Bills of Materials. Prepare and present Statements of Work (SOW).
Required Skills:
Experience in design, documentation, and budgeting for network infrastructure projects. Knowledge of BICSI, EIA/TIA 568-B standards. Ability to interpret construction drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience leading meetings via WEBEX or in person.
Additional Desired Skills: BICSI, RCDD, or technician certification.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military background. 6-10 years of cost estimating and scope of work experience.
