About the Role
Investment Strategy seeks an Executive Assistant to support the Portfolio Managers and Analysts on the Fundamental Factor team. The Executive Assistant’s role is to leverage their stakeholders’ time through logistical coordination of the team’s needs and activities. This individual will be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
The Executive Assistant will play an integral role in the team’s efforts to service the firm’s investors and clients, assisting with meeting coordination and logistics, high-level event coordination, travel coordination, database management, and other business functions as needed. The Executive Assistant will work primarily with the Fundamental Factor team on a day-to-day basis but will also be a part of the Investment Platform’s broader administrative team.
Responsibilities
Diligent and proactive calendar management
Extensive logistical coordination of internal and external meetings or events
Coordination of domestic & international travel logistics, arrangements & itineraries
Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with various internal and external constituencies
Providing cross-coverage and backup support to other Administrative and Executive Assistants
Assisting with ad hoc projects and other duties as needed
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an administrative role in a professional services organization
Experience in the investment management industry will be viewed favorably
Exposure to global contexts, whether professionally and/or personally, will be viewed favorably
Advanced proficiency in MS Office with an ability and desire to learn new technology to drive efficiencies
Demonstrated strong detail orientation, diligence and overall high work quality
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
Proactive problem-solving skills and an anticipatory mindset
High level of reliability, professionalism and discretion
Ability to work under deadlines and to accommodate last-minute changes
A strong service orientation, remaining calm under pressure, with a positive, can-do attitude and a sense of humor
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Typical work schedule is 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility and overtime as necessary; occasional off-hours support for urgent matters may be required
