We are seeking candidates with at least a basic understanding of and keen interest in patent law, who are comfortable speaking in court, taking depositions, and engaging directly with clients and opposing counsel. The ideal candidate enjoys strategic thinking, teamwork, and actively participating in case development. Responsibilities
Participate in patent litigation cases in U.S. District Court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Conduct factual and legal research, draft pleadings, and participate in discovery processes. Engage in depositions, expert discovery, and draft dispositive motions and claim construction briefs. Assist in pre-trial and trial activities. Qualifications
2-5 years of significant patent litigation experience. Experience with infringement, validity, and damages issues. Educational background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics. Experience working in an IP department of a law firm preferred; ITC experience is a plus. Excellent writing skills and high academic achievement from a law school. Additional Information
