This Opportunity WSP is seeking a full-time

Vice President, Ports/Maritime National Electrification and Decarbonization Business Leader . This position can be based in California (Irvine, San Diego), Texas (Houston), Florida (Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami), or North Carolina (Raleigh). The role involves providing regional and national leadership in ports electrification and decarbonization, focusing on projects such as port modernization, shore power, renewable energy, and maritime zero emissions. Responsibilities include technical leadership, project delivery, business development, and strategic growth. Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of WSP’s ports electrification and decarbonization practice nationally. Manage large, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Provide technical expertise on port electrification and decarbonization systems. Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships. Lead negotiations, proposals, and project scopes. Drive strategic growth and pipeline development in the assigned region. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Foster innovation, staff development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Represent WSP to external agencies and industry groups. Who You Are

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 12+ years of relevant experience, including major port projects. Engineer license (multi-state preferred). Deep knowledge of port electrification, decarbonization, and electrical infrastructure design. Leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects. Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Engineering. 20+ years of professional experience. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $160,000 - $230,000, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid leave.
