Lead an engineering team partnering with major silicon companies to optimize Ubuntu across the Linux stack, from kernel to GUI, for the latest hardware. This fast-paced role requires resourcefulness, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver solutions across PC and IoT technologies. Responsibilities
Manage a distributed team designing and implementing Ubuntu integration for new hardware platforms. Collaborate with partners to deliver optimized Ubuntu experiences. Develop your team through coaching and feedback. Oversee project milestones and ensure quality standards. Coordinate with internal teams on product architecture and roadmaps. Travel up to twice a year for up to two weeks. Candidate Profile
Experience with Linux distributions, debian packaging, and high-performance hardware. Experience working directly with customers to resolve technical issues. Proven leadership of software engineering teams. Understanding of agile methodologies. Effective cross-team collaboration skills. Excellent communication skills in English.
