24-03361 About the Role:
Support the System Interconnection/System Planning Team with conceptual engineering design for System Impact Study and Facility Study phases of interconnection projects, transmission projects, and facility modifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable interconnection of Generation, Load, and Transmission projects to NY Electric Transmission System. Responsibilities:
Coordinate with project developers, internal stakeholders, NYISO, and engineering firms to review designs and ensure compliance with technical requirements. Develop and review responsibility matrices, project requests, and manage project documentation and cost tracking. Review feasibility and system impact studies, interpret power flow and transient simulation results using PSSE or TARA. Provide asset information, drawings, and standards for interconnection to client transmission or generation facilities. Required Skills:
Experience with NYISO interconnection processes. Experience with high voltage substation and transmission project development. Experience with large-scale renewable projects. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Benefits:
