Job Description The Technical Solutions Architect provides expertise for clients in technical business process management activities. The primary focus is to lead the client and collaborate with the Technical Architecture team to determine best practices and efficient processes. They utilize their knowledge of applications and tools to guide the delivery and Functional Architecture teams in configuring and enhancing applications to implement designed processes. The architect acts as the main conduit between business process owners, executives, and the technical and functional teams to ensure the application meets requirements.
Job Duties
Diagnose:
Understand project scope and approach with the Functional Solutions Architect.
Oversee environment management activities.
Understand applications and integration methodologies.
Address Data Migration requirements.
Gather non-functional requirements.
Analyze:
Coordinate enhancement requirements collection.
Identify and document data migration needs.
Partner on ISV analysis and implementation.
Review “gap” requirements for feasibility.
Provide high-level estimates.
Recommend BI and reporting strategies.
Understand key performance metrics.
Develop:
Manage technical task breakdowns.
Guide technical consultants.
Oversee code management and deployment.
Supervise unit testing.
Assist in developing Go-Live strategy.
Validate:
Supervise testing and code remediation.
Manage performance tuning strategies.
Deploy and Support:
Execute deployment plan.
Support post-Go-Live processes.
Maintain a positive, learning, and client-focused attitude.
Travel up to 25%, as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years of D365 experience leading projects and teams, OR
High School Diploma/GED + 7+ years of D365 experience.
Experience
6+ years of D365 experience leading projects and teams.
3+ years in software as a process improvement catalyst, implementation, or enhancements.
Client-facing consulting experience preferred.
Technical Skills
Experience with at least four of the following: X++, .NET/C#, SSRS, RESTful API, SQL, JSON, other OO languages.
Experience with implementation technologies like Visual Studio, ADO, D365 F&O functional knowledge.
Skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
Business process analysis and design skills.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
