HiFyve is hiringa Maintenance Technician inIrving TX.
Pay: $30- $35/hr Schedule: 3rd shift. 3-2-2 7am - 7pm. Benefits: Competitive wage (DOE) Paid holidays & vacation Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Key Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Diagnose electrical issues in machinery and production equipment, including motors, control systems, PLCs, and wiring. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability. Install, upgrade, and calibrate electrical and electronic components, including wiring, panels, sensors, and drives. Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations accurately. Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical systems and equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including repairs, replacements, and preventive activities, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards. Collaborate with other maintenance and production staff to coordinate repairs and minimize disruptions to operations. Provide technical support during equipment installations, startups, and shutdowns. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce costs. Stay current with industry advancements and recommend upgrades to improve system performance. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: Plastic experience. Thermoforming / flexible packaging would be ideal. Strong background in electrical controls troubleshooting. Experience with gas trains, burners, and fire control.
