HiFyve is hiring a State Certified Electrician in the manufacturing industry!
Salary: $44-45
Shift: M-F Day shift
Location: Shakopee, Minnesota
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical and electronic equipment throughout the plant, including motors, switches, control panels, and circuit breakers. Interpret verbal instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine the best methods for repair or installation. Perform work involving electrical principles, wiring codes, and material properties, including working on energized circuits when necessary. Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, fittings, and wiring for new installations, relocations, and temporary operations. Perform miscellaneous related tasks as needed.
Education Requirements
Must be a Minnesota State Licensed Electrician.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles, wiring codes, and equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams. Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and safely working with electrical systems, including energized circuits. Proficient in using electrical tools and materials, and capable of planning and executing complex electrical tasks independently.
