Fairmont State University invites applications and nominations for the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The provost oversees academic programs, faculty affairs, and compliance with accreditation standards. They work closely with college deans and university leadership to develop and implement academic policies, new programs, and faculty appointments. The university is a comprehensive, student-centered institution offering diverse programs at various degree levels. Located in Fairmont, West Virginia, it combines the opportunities of a large university with the personal attention of a smaller college. The provost provides leadership for all academic activities, collaborates with campus stakeholders, and makes recommendations regarding academic programs and faculty matters to the President and Board of Governors. The new provost will engage with faculty and campus constituents to foster innovation and growth. Application Process:
