Job Description: Director of High Performance & Junior Competitive Tennis
The Tucker Tennis Academy (TTA), located in Tulsa, OK at Genesis Health Club Riverside, offers classes for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced international junior competitors.
TTA is seeking a
Director of High Performance
to lead and manage the Full-Time High-Performance Program, work with the afterschool Academy Program, and oversee the Elite Class. The role involves 28 hours of programming, with potential to teach 12+ private lessons, reporting to the Director of Tennis and Director of Operations.
The purpose of this position is to develop and serve junior tennis players aiming for or competing at a high level. Responsibilities include training and evaluating tennis pros, assessing new students, and promoting lessons, events, and activities.
Requirements include weekend work, travel to US tournaments, and possession of a US work permit.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Lead on-court coaching for the Full-Time Program, including lesson planning.
Support and manage partnerships with Tennis Analytics, 3D Motion Analysis, Physical Therapists, and Mental Training.
Assist other coaches in implementing high-performance practices.
Maintain accurate attendance records.
Coach private and group lessons.
Plan player development and travel schedules.
Travel for tournaments across the US, approximately once a month.
Organize and deliver various programs.
Serve as the main contact for players and parents in the Full-Time Program.
Qualifications
Minimum college or professional level tennis playing experience.
Ability to independently run drills and groups.
Certifications such as USPTA, USPTR, or equivalent.
Net Generation/background screened certification.
