The ideal candidate for the Workday Integrations Senior Principal Consultant (Lead Consultant) position is able to support both business and technical teams. You love the challenge of solving complex inter-system problems and want to develop SaaS, SOA, web service expertise. Responsibilities: Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday integrations/Extend support for a variety of customer contracts in roles that may include staff augmentation, ad-hoc support, and project delivery. Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management. Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform. Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices. Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of integration configuration decisions. Become a Workday Integrations expert with deep knowledge of core functionality, while building an understanding of Financials, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent modules, as well as future product direction. Mentor other consultants: actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice. Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to establish requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately configure, test and deploy integrations solutions. Requirements Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have extensive experience in Workday Financial Management Must have strong expertise in Workday HCM Experience with ETL tools and middleware solutions Proficiency in writing XSLT transformations and using Integration Studio Knowledge of security protocols for data transmission and storage Nice to have domain experience in Finance & Accounting Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Must have strong communication and collaboration abilities Nice to have experience in hybrid work environments Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Must have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges Must be committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives Must have a strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must be adaptable to changing business needs and priorities Must have a passion for continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Experience Previous work experience in a consulting or client-facing role Familiarity with other business software systems and their integration with Workday Experience in change management and user adoption strategies within diverse business environments Certifications Workday Certified Integration Professional (Mandatory)
