Position: DevOps Engineer II We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to support our AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate with our engineering team and external DevOps contractors to support tools, users, and systems that facilitate incentives for clean energy technologies. Your role involves maintaining systems aligned with client needs and energy-saving goals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of professional engineering experience Minimum of 3 years AWS DevOps engineering experience Experience managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform Knowledge of CI/CD processes and Linux system administration Cost optimization skills for AWS and other platforms Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Strong multitasking, documentation, decision-making, and communication skills Proficiency in Python; experience with Django is a plus Familiarity with Tableau, Airflow, Redshift, OpenSearch, SharePoint, Jira, and energy domain experience are additional pluses Responsibilities Support cloud-based deployments across multiple projects Respond to support tasks promptly Build and maintain testing, automation tools, and infrastructure Provide guidance and training to junior staff Troubleshoot AWS, networking, and database issues Monitor system operations for potential problems Develop and review scripts in Python and other languages Coordinate with DevOps partners to optimize workflows Additional Details This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 1 day/week onsite at one of our offices in Oakland, CA; Portland, OR; Chicago, IL; or Boston, MA. Compensation ranges from $108,000 to $125,000 annually, along with benefits including retirement plans, health insurance, and ESOP.
