This is an onsite position.The Associate 1 Payroll is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the organisation's payroll.What You’ll Work OnPrepares the monthly payroll, conducting the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary, such as vacation pay, overtime, etc.Process court ordered child support withholdings and garnishments.Document and maintain payroll processes.Triage tickets related to payroll inquiriesReview and fulfill wage verification inquiriesReview overpayments and send communications accordinglyProvide customer service to employees and managers by answering incoming questions related to payroll and timekeepingRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma/ GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceDemonstrated ability to be self-motivated, detailed oriented and problem solveEffectively navigate a matrixed organization while managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced settingDemonstratedCustomer Service skills via email and phoneDemonstrate basic personal computer skills including experience with Payroll software and Microsoft applications Word and Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, and creating macros).Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.comFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
