DC Inventory Control TMReports To: ManagerDirect Reports: NoStatus: Full-TimeHourlyDivision: Distribution CenterJob Purpose:The Inventory Control Team member oversees inventory integrity within the Distribution Center. Ensure all inventory is properly stored in the correct location and is easily identifiable.Key Job Responsibilities:Perform daily cycle counts, confirm zeros, and handle warehouse denials.Reconcile ASN discrepancies and inbound transfers.Replenish primary pick locations from overstock and slot new SKUs correctly.Maintain efficient slotting for pulling and putting away tasks.Conduct necessary bin maintenance and rectify no-bin items.Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and verify inventory edits.Assist with vendor returns and lead physical inventory.Support other locations with moves and inventory when needed.Fulfill any assigned duties.Demonstrate prior verifiable experience in inventory control.Ability to get Equipment Operator Certified, such as Stand-up Rider Lift Truck (RC), Stand-up Order Picker (SP), or Sit-down propane forklift.Work at heights without fear.Requirements:High Diploma or equivalency (required).0-1 year of auto parts experience preferred.Punctual, reliable, and available for varying hours and occasional overtime.Previous experience with scanners and PC-based systems.Observe safety and security procedures and adhere to driving laws.Strive to increase productivity and response time.Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation plan complete with attractive benefits offerings that include (not limited to):MedicalDentalVisionLife insurance401k, paid time offOpportunities for advancementEnvironmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:Typical 9-hour day to include walking, squatting, and lifting.
