As a vital part of our healthcare facility, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting in diagnosing patients with cardiovascular conditions. Our team works closely with transport staff to ensure smooth patient flow to the lab for scans. Responsibilities: - Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.- Evaluate and interpret echocardiographic images to assist in diagnosing conditions such as CHF, CVA, endocarditis, and valvular diseases.- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards while ensuring a patient-centered environment.- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and procedures using the EPIC charting system. Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography.- Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS. - Proficiency in adult acute care echocardiography and related techniques, including 3-D Echo and Bubble Study.- Familiarity with diagnostic imaging protocols and equipment (e.g., PACS and Philips systems).- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.- Weekend coverage and floating between like units may be required. Work Environment: - The facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital with 325 staffed beds.- The Echo Lab features a collaborative team atmosphere focused on providing excellent patient care.- Daily patient interactions predominantly involve adult and geriatric populations with various cardiovascular diagnoses.
