This position requires expertise in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms, as well as expertise in both vascular and cardiac sonography techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Perform echocardiograms, including venous and arterial Doppler studies, adhering to best practices and clinical guidelines.- Place intravenous lines and administer IV medications as necessary.- Interpret EKG results and conduct cardiac and vascular stress testing.- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 to ensure personalized care and attention.- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and effective environment. Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited program in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography or non-invasive cardiovascular technology.- Registry preferred by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in echocardiography and vascular technology.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography and vascular sonography.- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms.- Experience in placing IV lines and the administration of IV medications is desirable.
