Senior/ Principal Architect

Senior Architect HukariAscendent is a Women-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities. Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques. Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, MSTS or customer organizations, or projects. Provide expertise and guidance in architectural design, and the resolution of architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues. Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co-workers. Conduct construction document reviews as required. Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required. Interface with other design/construction disciplines, MSTS management and customers, as necessary. Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required. Education and Experience: Bachelor of Architecture with a combined 10 years’ professional architectural experience in relevant design/field experience required. Registered Architect with current state registration. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) preferred.
