JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: CRNA Cardiac Anesthesia Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Florence, SC Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: 08/25/2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: TBD (Flexible Schedule) On-Call Shift Schedule: Minimal Cardiac Call (Details TBD) COVERAGE DATES Starting August 25, 2025 Confirmed in 3-month increments PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Case Mix: Cardiac, Major Vascular, Thoracic, General, ASC cases FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: No Trauma EMR System: Epic (includes hospital modules and personalization session) Specialty Backup Available: Yes Support Staff Available: Physicians and APPs Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Open-heart anesthesia Cardiac anesthesia Major vascular and thoracic anesthesia JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina license required Certification: Baord Certified or Board Eligible Experience: Must be willing to do open hearts and take some cardiac call Other Qualifications: Comfortable with Epic; experience in cardiac/vascular cases DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia care for major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgeries Participate in minimal cardiac call as scheduled May be assigned general and ASC cases Collaborate with physician anesthesiologists and APPs Document accurately within Epic EMR system
