Manpower Engineering is seeking an experienced
Casting Maintenance Manager
for a direct hire opportunity with our manufacturing client in
Lafayette, Indiana
. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in
molten metal or foundry operations
,
combustion systems
, and
maintenance management
.
✅
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years in industrial/heavy equipment maintenance leadership
Experience in
casting, molten metal, or foundry environments
Knowledge of
combustion systems
Familiarity with Oracle EAM and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
What You’ll Do:
Lead maintenance and engineering operations for Ingot and Lithium cast houses
Drive reliability-centered maintenance and root cause analysis
Manage a team of salaried engineers and maintenance staff
Oversee contractor projects and coordinate preventive maintenance
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
Serve as the key decision-maker across all shifts
