Job Details
Robotic Welding Operations Set up and operate robotic welding machines according to production schedules and work orders.
Load and unload parts into fixtures, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
Select and adjust welding programs, parameters, and fixtures for various materials and part designs.
Monitor welds during operation to ensure proper bead size, penetration, and quality.
Programming & Setup Make program adjustments for new part runs or design changes.
Install and align fixtures, tooling, and workpieces for optimal welding performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Quality Control & Inspection Perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks to ensure all welds meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and weld gauges to verify tolerances.
Document inspection results and complete necessary production paperwork.
Maintenance & Safety Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding equipment, including cleaning, wire changes, and tip replacement.
Follow all company safety procedures, including PPE usage, machine lockout/tagout, and safe material handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
