Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Echo Technologist for a 26-week day shift contract working with adult cardiac patients, with EPIC charting and Level 1 trauma experience required.
Responsibilities Work in an echocardiography lab performing routine and complex cardiac ultrasound proceduresServes an adult cardiac patient population in a Level 1 Trauma environmentDay shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayOn-call shifts are required as neededEPIC electronic medical record system is used and experience is requiredFloat or cross-training to other divisions of Cardiovascular Services may be requiredPerforms and oversees high quality echocardiographic examinations and maintains accurate documentationCritiques imaging quality, positioning, and technical factorsParticipates in cross-training within Cardiovascular ServicesUp to one calendar year permitted per assignment; a 30-60 day break required before returning to a new assignmentRTO (Requested Time Off) not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contractNo locals accepted, must live more than 50 miles from facilityScrub attire requirements will be provided upon assignment start
