Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist with 3+ years of experience and current ARDMS, CCI in Echocardiography, and BLS certifications for a weekday assignment.
Responsibilities Work in a cardiovascular non-invasive department focused on adult patientsResponsibilities include performing high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies, EKG assessments, and assisting with stress and transesophageal echocardiogramsMonday through Friday day shifts from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PMParticipation in callback rotation and regional mobile echo/vascular services requiredUse of EPIC charting system is requiredDuties include performing 2D, doppler, M-Mode, color flow, and contrast echocardiography as well as stress echo proceduresAssists cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms and functional or pharmacological stress testsAccurately documents and communicates findings using computerized systemsTroubleshoots equipment and ensures operational readinessMay participate in mobile service regionally and is included in callback rotationAppropriate communication with patients and cardiology team is expectedRTO must not exceed 7 total days during the 13 week contractAssignment limited to one calendar year with a required 30-60 day break before returningNo travel partners accepted and only one position can be applied to within the health system
