Job Title: Freight Handler - Warehouse

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Freight Handler in a bustling warehouse environment. This role entails efficiently handling freight by unloading and loading containers, palletizing, and conducting quality checks. The position requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Hand load and unload freight from inbound and outbound containers.

Pick orders from lower-level racking using a push cart.

Verify contents of packages prior to shipping.

Package contents into boxes for shipment.

Ensure timely shipping of products.

Maintain high productivity levels to meet production standards.

Essential Skills

Experience in loading and unloading freight.

Proficiency in handling paperwork and using RF scanners.

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly, and occasionally lift 120 lbs. with assistance.

Strong attention to detail, especially when reading numbers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in material handling, packing, shipping, and receiving.

Inventory management skills.

Work Environment

Work in a 425,000 square foot warehouse where products are stacked on racks, and dock doors surround the facility. Forklifts are frequently in motion throughout the facility. This role operates on a mid-shift schedule from 1pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
