Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, Hybrid - (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Contract HireArt is assisting an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company in finding a highly skilled Data Engineer for Ride and Fleet Software. The role involves delivering a seamless, safe, and reliable ride experience for customers. We seek candidates with at least 4 years of data engineering experience, skilled in data visualization and analysis tools, committed to creating an optimal user experience. Responsibilities Collaborate on reliability KPIs, analyze trends, identify gaps, and develop mitigation plans. Develop data pipelines for key metrics to optimize and monitor the end-user experience. Capture data signals to formulate hypotheses and run experiments for validation. Evaluate dashboards to ensure they meet long-term company needs. Requirements 4+ years of data engineering experience Experience with Looker, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Databricks, and other analytics tools Passion for enhancing the end-user experience Curiosity and a desire to improve processes Fast learner with excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications 2 years of data science experience Experience with AWS technologies (e.g., Lambdas) Experience in the ride-hailing industry Introduced metrics/KPIs measuring product success in production Ability to thrive in a growing, complex organization Skill in deconstructing complex ideas Benefits include Flexible Spending Account for healthcare costs, company-covered short and long-term disability and life insurance, and a 401k package.
