We are seeking aSenior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of mechanical systems for both new construction and renovation projects, with an emphasis on mission-critical facilities. This position requires expertise in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and coordinating effectively with other engineering teams. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will oversee all aspects of the mechanical discipline on assigned projects, including design quality, calculations, specifications, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will oversee all aspects of the mechanical discipline on assigned projects, including design quality, calculations, specifications, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead mechanical engineer, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant designs that meet client needs and project objectives.
- Collaborate with clients to define project goals, performance criteria, and constraints.
- Develop and evaluate mechanical design solutions, providing recommendations based on technical, operational, and cost considerations.
- Produce and oversee design documents including conceptual layouts, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated, constructable solutions.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the client's representative during construction phases, reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site inspections.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and leadership skills within the team.
- Experience: 7+ years in the MEP industry with significant experience in mechanical system design.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
- Licensing: Professional Engineering License (in Texas or ability to obtain via NCEES Credentials).
- Proven ability to lead multi-discipline project teams.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Revit and related design software.
- Background in mission-critical or complex facility projects.
