  • The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for various accounts payable functions within the organization. The primary responsibilities of this role include paying vendors for services in a timely manner, and other various accounting functions as described below.
Primary Responsibilities
  • The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for various accounts payable functions within the organization. The primary responsibilities of this role include paying vendors for services in a timely manner, and other various accounting functions as described below.
Essential Functions
  • Enter Accounts Payable Invoices in the system on a daily basis
  • Setup new vendors/customers in Sedona
  • Pay invoices to vendors within terms due
  • Send appropriate documents such as W-9, tax exempt forms, COI etc. to vendors when needed
  • Cleary communicate to customers and coworkers on the phone and in person
  • Use a computer for majority of the responsibilities of this position
  • Work as the backup to the receptionist by answering phones when they are out of the office or on lunch break
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Must be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers
  • Must possess basic math and money handling skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in accounting
  • One-two years of experience in accounting role
Physical Requirements & Environment
  • This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • Background check required.
