Tax Senior Manager - Cupertino - Salary up to $200K DOE

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate has deep tax knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering strategic client solutions.
Overview:
As a Tax Senior Manager, youll play a key leadership role. Youll manage client relationships, lead strategic tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement

• Serve as the primary advisor for key clients and provide proactive, strategic and tailored tax guidance
• Cultivate long-term relationships by identifying opportunities and resolving complex tax issues
  

Technical Skills

• Oversee preparation and review of complex returns (corporate, partnership, individual, trust, estate)
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize client outcomes
• Stay on top of evolving tax laws and advise clients accordingly
  

Leadership & Development

• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Lead performance reviews, training programs, and career development initiatives
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative team culture
  

Practice Growth

• Identify opportunities to expand client services
• Contribute to business development efforts and strengthen client relationships
• Maintain ethical and defensible tax positions across all
  

Qualifications:

• CPA, 10+ years in public accounting, Master's in Taxation preferred
• Strong technical command of federal, state, and local tax law
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex client portfolios
• Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with tax software
