Contract Conformance Specialist III

Contract Duration: Until Aug 18, 2026 (High Possibility of Extension)

Location: Houston, TX 77079 (Minimal travel may be required)

Work Schedule: Hybrid work model: Onsite (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) & Remote (Wednesday, Friday).

Position Summary:

Client is seeking a Contract Conformance Specialist III (CCS) to support the successful execution and administration of contracts for assigned capital and maintenance projects. The CCS is responsible for overseeing contract documentation, communication, compliance, and the resolution of contractual matters to ensure alignment between Enbridge and its contractors.

This position requires frequent cross-functional collaboration with legal, project and construction management, procurement, and other teams. The role reports directly to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Construction & Sourcing Administration (CS&A) Team Lead or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement project-specific contracting strategies.
  • Draft, review, and manage purchase orders, work releases, contract exhibits, and technical language including scope, specifications, and pricing.
  • Support contract negotiation during bidding and formation stages.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with contractual obligations and identify non-compliance.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of contract-related issues in coordination with project teams and legal.
  • Manage change order processes, including review and documentation of change requests.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contractor communications, meeting notes, and correspondence.
  • Establish and manage contract document control and retention systems.
  • Review contractor invoices for alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Participate in project audits and ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Deliver regular updates to SC&A team leadership, including weekly status reports.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction, Legal, Business, or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • OR
  • Associate degree with 710 years of experience in contract administration, construction, engineering, or legal fields (preferably in the energy sector)

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of contracting processes in energy industry projects.
  • Familiarity with contract documentation and legal language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Oracle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing contract administration in large, complex projects.
