*Description:* The Home Loan Specialist is an entry-level role supporting various mortgage channels, focusing on loan closing operations. This position ensures smooth and efficient processes aligned with business goals and customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine data entry and validation tasks
- Initiate third-party orders (e.g., title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certification, credit reports)
- Review and validate loan documents for accuracy and completeness
- Handle routine communications via phone, email, and chat
- Monitor work queues and intervene as needed to maintain workflow
- Support loan closing and funding processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's culture and values
Required Skills:
- Customer service
- Data entry
- Administrative support
- Loan operations and mortgage processing
- Banking or financial services experience
- Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination systems
- Loan closing and funding experience
- Understanding of TRID regulations
- Title experience is a plus
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Prior experience in financial services or mortgage industry preferred
Pay and Benefits:
