Traveling - Safety Manager - Mission Critical What we are looking for: A traveling Safety Manager to join our Mission Critical team. The Safety Professional serves a dual role: initially providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels, and actively participating in delivering safety initiatives to develop a safety culture focused on Incident and Injury Free (“Nobody Gets Hurt”) in all work performed by AE. Your role at Aldridge will be to champion the Incident & Injury Free culture, lead safety initiatives across a region, and ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA, and other regulations. What you’ll do: Promote and steward our Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture and Core Values Provide safety coaching and advice to Operations Management to ensure a safe, efficient work environment Assist Talent Management with safety training related to transportation operations Motivate management and employees to prioritize safety Serve as a safety subject matter expert, implementing relevant safety practices Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance Conduct gap analyses on safety policies and recommend improvements Perform site visits to monitor safety system implementation Assist in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in incident investigations and verify corrective actions Support project teams in developing safe work plans Set safety expectations and ensure documentation is maintained Travel to multiple projects within your region to provide safety support Implement safety systems for new project startups Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience 3-5 years’ experience in Construction Safety and Occupational Health Willing to travel Certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP Ability to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations Organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Who we are: At Aldridge, we value your skills and teamwork.
