Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Permitting Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team to support and grow our expanding business in the Texas/Gulf Coast region across sectors such as renewable energies, utilities, oil and gas, and transit. The successful candidate will manage project teams supporting environmental permitting and planning projects, providing project management support across various sectors. Experience with the Clean Water Act (CWA), NEPA, and Texas state agencies is required. This role requires collaboration with diverse teams and the ability to balance priorities. Arcadis offers a flexible, hybrid work environment with remote work and periodic travel (10-15%). As a Consultant, you'll contribute to impactful projects, drive innovation, and build technical communities within the Energy Transition and Permitting Space. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in environmental projects across diverse markets. Role accountabilities:

You will lead teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical experts to execute environmental permitting projects. Responsibilities include developing permitting strategies, preparing permit applications, and coordinating with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure project success. Demonstrated experience with federal and state laws, including the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and NEPA, is essential. You will also support business development by nurturing client relationships, leading pursuits, and developing scope and cost estimates. Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or a related field 7+ years managing environmental permitting projects in Texas and the Gulf Coast Experience as a schedule-driven project manager with cost estimation and delivery expertise Proven experience developing permit applications and strategies, with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service collaboration experience; NEPA experience is a plus Leadership experience working with multidisciplinary teams to develop environmental documents Why Arcadis?
