Senior Accountant , where you’ll manage general ledger processes, ensure SOX compliance, and support SEC reporting. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, you’ll thrive in a flexible, 100% remote role (with hybrid options for local candidates) while driving accuracy and growth.
Salary : $90,000–$114,000 (DOE) + 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Location : 100% remote role, ideally Northeast/EST-based (local Acton, MA-area candidates may work hybrid, in-office as needed for meetings).

What You’ll Do
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger accounting, preparing journal entries and reconciliations for general expenses. Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP and support SEC reporting requirements. Analyze monthly and quarterly account fluctuations, providing insights to support strategic decisions. Execute and enhance internal controls to maintain SOX compliance in areas of responsibility. Develop and refine accounting procedures, recommending process improvements to boost efficiency. Support operational analysis for recurring transactions and new business initiatives. Assist with special projects, driving value through financial analysis and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years in public accounting (Senior title preferred) or a public accounting/industry mix, with 4+ years total accounting experience; SEC and SOX experience required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MSA or MBA a plus. Technical Skills: Strong GAAP knowledge; proficiency in advanced Excel; SAP experience a plus. Industry: Medical technology, pharma, or biotech experience preferred but open to other relevant industries. Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; deadline-oriented with attention to detail. Mindset: Collaborative team player, capable of managing multiple projects with precision. Location: Northeast/EST-based for remote work; local Acton, MA, candidates may work hybrid (in-office as needed). Travel: Willingness to attend occasional in-office meetings in Acton, MA.
