Medical Director
to lead our clinical team and oversee all medical services across our facility in New Jersey. Position Overview:
The
Medical Director
will serve as the clinical leader responsible for overseeing medical and psychiatric care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and advancing clinical excellence across all levels of care. The ideal candidate will be
double boarded in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine
and possess strong leadership, administrative, and clinical skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct psychiatric care and medication management to patients in detox, residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care Lead and supervise the medical and clinical teams, including physicians, NPs, and other healthcare providers Collaborate with executive and clinical leadership on program development, quality improvement, and compliance Oversee medical documentation, assessments, and treatment planning in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in audits, licensing surveys, and accreditation processes (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF) Develop and implement clinical protocols and medical policies aligned with best practices in psychiatry and addiction medicine Foster a culture of ethical, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care across the organization Requirements: MD or DO with active
New Jersey medical license Board Certification in Psychiatry
and
Addiction Medicine
