HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, located on Florida’s West Coast. The ideal candidate will be Fellowship trained or have demonstrated cardiac-capable experience with TEE. Anesthesiology, Cardiac Anesthesiology Opportunity Highlights & Qualified Candidates
Care Team Model includes 4 General Anesthesiologists, 2 CV Anesthesiologists, and 15 CRNAs Case mix includes Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neuro, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Gynecology, Thoracic. No Obstetrics, Trauma, or Pediatrics. Facilities include 10 ORs, Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites, and 6 NORA sites. Average of 150 cardiac cases annually, including CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, AAA repair, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, AFIB. Schedule: 45-50 hours/week, with beeper call, 1 weekend/month, and approximately 10 calls/month. Response time: 30 minutes. Call back rate is minimal. Incentive & Benefits Package
