Job Summary
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, located on Florida’s West Coast. The ideal candidate will be Fellowship trained or have demonstrated cardiac-capable experience with TEE. Opportunity Highlights & Qualified Candidates
- Care Team Model includes 4 General Anesthesiologists, 2 CV Anesthesiologists, and 15 CRNAs
- Case mix includes Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neuro, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Gynecology, Thoracic. No Obstetrics, Trauma, or Pediatrics.
- Facilities include 10 ORs, Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites, and 6 NORA sites.
- Average of 150 cardiac cases annually, including CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, AAA repair, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, AFIB.
- Schedule: 45-50 hours/week, with beeper call, 1 weekend/month, and approximately 10 calls/month. Response time: 30 minutes. Call back rate is minimal.
