Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

A busy Urgent Care and Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, and family medicine to join our team. You will have the opportunity to provide healthcare services in the Severna Park, Canton, White Marsh, and Halethorpe communities. Responsibilities: Providing primary care and urgent care to patients Performing initial evaluations, including physical exams and patient observations Setting up and monitoring medical equipment Communicating test results to patients and their families Recording patients' medical histories Administering injections and performing procedures such as laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, and splinting Providing counsel and medical treatment to patients Educating patients on wellness and health maintenance Developing and implementing patient management plans based on lab results and X-rays Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Qualifications: Previous experience in family medicine, emergency room, or urgent care settings Familiarity with medical tools and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills by Jobble
