Job Summary: Cogent Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join their team. The role involves managing multiple projects related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring safety and functionality throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Assist in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. • Work closely with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. • Maintain project records, including contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other relevant documents. • Assist in the development and management of project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved. • Help monitor project budgets, track expenses, and prepare reports on financial status. • Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. • Identify potential issues and work with the Project Manager to develop solutions. • Communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction with the work being performed. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. • Assist in enforcing safety protocols on job sites and ensuring that all workers comply with safety standards. • Work closely with the Project Manager, estimators, and other team members to ensure project success. Qualifications: Required: • Equivalent experience in the electrical industry may be considered. • 2 years in a project management or supervisory role. • Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction documents. • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and basic office software (e.g., MS Office Suite). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. • Ability to conduct site visits and inspections, including climbing ladders and working in various weather conditions.
