Job Purpose The engineer will conduct signal integrity (SI) measurements at the Sanmina PCB SI lab for bare PCBs and PCBAs, and support thermal analysis (TA) measurements at the PART lab. The role may include supporting internal and customer projects involving test evaluation, planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting.
Nature Of Duties
Conduct SI and TA measurements, analyze data, and prepare reports for product inspection.
Review products using SI and thermal analysis, and suggest manufacturing improvements.
Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and develop test plans.
Support material or PCB review projects with senior engineers and supervisors.
Maintain lab equipment and tools.
Education And Experience
BS or higher in EE, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with measurement equipment such as VNA, TDR, oscilloscope, TMA, TGA, DSC, or similar. Please specify on your resume.
PCB/PCBA measurement experience is preferred.
Knowledge of signal integrity concepts and thermal analysis for polymers is a plus.
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Must meet ITAR requirements and be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Additional Details This is an ITAR facility; applicants must be US Citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Salary Range: $98,000 - $121,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, PTO, and potential stock and bonus awards.
