Nature of Duties: Conduct SI measurements, analyze data, and write reports for product inspection prior
to shipment. Review products using SI measurements and thermal analysis. Assess potential product
improvements for manufacturing sites. Conduct failure analysis to identify potential causes and their root causes. Following
this, plan and execute a detailed test plan. Support material or PCB review projects with senior lab engineers and the supervisor. Maintain lab equipment and tools. Education and Experience: BS or higher degree in EE or a related field. The successful candidate must have equipment measurement experience in at least two of the following: vector network analyzer (VNA, ENA, PNA), time-domain reflectometer (TDR), oscilloscope, thermal mechanical analysis (TMA), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) or similar equipment. (Please indicate these experiences on your resume.) PCB/PCBA measurement experience is preferred. Knowledge of signal integrity related to printed circuit boards, such as signal reflections and attenuation, losses, bit error rate (BER), intersymbol interference (ISI) and jitter, crosstalk, electromagnetic interference (EMI), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and other related concepts is preferred. Knowledge of thermal analysis for polymer materials is preferred. The candidate must possess strong documentation and presentation skills. The candidate meets ITAR requirements.Job Purpose: This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range (annual) : $98,000.00 - $121,000.00 Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
