$90,000 $110,000 base + $11,000 annual bonus About the Role The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, internal controls, and continuous improvement of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, hands-on experience, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Produce GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports Analyze financial trends, variances, and operational data Maintain and enforce internal accounting policies and controls Colaborate with external auditors during audits Support budgeting and forecasting processes Improve and maintain accounting systems and process efficiency Mentor and support junior accounting staff Oversee cost accounting activities and variance analysis Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 6 years of accounting experience (corporate or public) In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP Background in cost accounting or manufacturing environments Experience in process improvement or system implementation projects Physical and Work Requirements Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA on a full-time basis Standard office environment; extended screen time and occasional lifting of office materials
