Houston, TX Our client, a domestic and global designer, fabricator, installer, and servicer for passive automatic flood barrier systems (infrastructure protection), is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for driving company revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities while also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers in the Gulf Coast and Mid-Atlantic markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling custom engineered solutions, with a proven track record of business development success and the ability to manage the sales funnel through a CRM. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills and a willingness to learn the services our client offers to the market. Core Functions: Identify, target, and acquire new customers in the self-provided lead generation. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned existing customer accounts. Build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high quality delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain sales funnel and associated data through company CRM for management visibility. Work with internal stakeholders to understand the company's strengths and value proposition to execute sales strategies that result in sustainable and profitable growth. Provide input into market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities. Collaborate with the President to establish sales goals then execute sales strategies and business plans to achieve company revenue goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and bids to secure new business. Be the subject matter expert in the areas of new account sales and growth, capabilities of custom engineering solutions, profitability, presentation strategies, competitive strategies, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts. Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a custom engineered solutions industry. High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Gulf Coast and Mid-Atlantic region as needed. Proven ability to develop and close new business opportunities. Strong customer services and organizational skills Must be available to work after hours depending on client or prospect demands.
