Director of Nursing

to lead our dedicated team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee the health services for our region and manage our clinical leaders. You'll be responsible for managing and developing client care teams to ensure top-notch care delivery and effective case management, all while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations including state, federal, and local laws. This role requires frequent office presence from Monday to Friday and involves travel to various client sites. Candidates should reside within a 60-minute drive of Santa Fe, NM and hold an active RN license. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Nurse Case Managers to provide safe and effective home care services.

Oversee fiscal and operational affairs for the assigned region.

Coordinate and participate in performance improvement initiatives and report findings.

Review and make recommendations for policy and procedure updates.

Assess client needs and assign appropriate clinical personnel.

Meet regularly with clinical teams to provide guidance and support.

Ensure that clients receive services according to their care plans.

Keep all supplies and equipment well maintained and stocked.

Monitor the productivity and performance of clinical personnel on a monthly basis.

Build relationships with community health professionals to enhance resource access.

Ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate continuing education for team members.

Participate in marketing and public relations efforts.

Ensure staff are well-trained in infection control and safety practices.

Assist with the hiring process and provide staff orientation.

Manage staff performance evaluations and implement necessary disciplinary actions.

Qualifications: Graduation from a state-approved nursing program.

Active, unrestricted RN license.

BSN or MSN is preferred.

At least five years of nursing experience, with at least three years in management.

Experience in case management is a plus.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are crucial.

Knowledge of federal and state home care regulations is essential.

Must possess valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Current CPR certification required.

Ability to travel as needed.

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $87,800 - $131,300 per year based on experience and qualifications. Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
