Responsibilities

Assistant Controller

Position Objective:

The Sr Accountant is an administrative role and responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. The incumbent will ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis) in compliance with GAAP performing GL (performing GL and account reconciliations and analysis) Prepare and analyze financial reporting and prepare support schedules Partner with various departments to understand and support business processes, ensure proper accounting, and resolve reconciling difference Prepare intercompany reconciliations and transactions Assist in company’s financial management, including all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly reviews and annual audits Prepare and post journal entries Prepare account reconciliations related to operation s Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements/ Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field CPA preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance Experience working with multiple legal entities Experience with financial reporting requirements Experience closing out month and year end financial statements Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration Healthcare industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time Communicating with others to exchange information Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times
