Central Jersey Wrecking & Recycling is seeking an organized construction Assistant Project Manager/Administrative Assistant (APM/AA) to support our field and office with project, clerical and administrative tasks. The APM/AA will provide administrative support to the office manager, project managers, and other Central Jersey Wrecking’s management staff. The ideal candidate will have great computer, communication, and time management skills. Previous experience in the industry is helpful, but not required. We are looking for a high energy, multi-tasking professional! Excellent telephone interaction with customers is required. Must be able to work well others. The APM/AA will perform the following job functions:
Prepare bid packages and assist in bidding procedures
Assist project managers with administrative work
Assist in preparation of forms such as change orders, purchase orders, service agreements, and subcontracts
Obtain, review, and compile documents for building permits
Submit building permit applications and related documentation
Coordinate and schedule meetings
Assist with project planning and scheduling
Assist in scheduling and coordinating field team activities
The candidate should have the following:
Previous experience in administrative, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of construction industry is
Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and other online construction platforms (BuildingConnect, AutoDesk, Procore, etc.).
